![]() ![]() Close assault (heavy with weaker armor but more accurate gun than in a Stormtrooper) Sniper (shoots from long distance and keeps that distance) Cavalry (maneuverable tank, effective in flanking) Dreadnaught (blocks and absorbs damage) Devastator (causes huge damage in a short period of time) ![]() “Every tank has its own gameplay role (used internally) which depends on a vehicle type and its key characteristics: They’ve divided them into sub classes based on their roles and will be making changes so they fit those roles better: They have also changed the way they pick tanks to buff and nerf them for balance. Don’t be surprised if they sneak in other things like that. I’m pretty sure they are at least testing an MM change where Anni’s are matched against other Anni’s. Buffing the tech tree and collector tanks is one way (“powercreep”).ĭuring the recent summit with CC’s the dev’s said that they couldn’t nerf the Annihilator and Smasher but were going to do “other things.” They’ve already “Shadow Nerfed” the Smasher by correcting a bug that made AP shells more powerful at long ranges. ![]() (They did nerfs in update 5.5 when they turned some premiums into collectors and then nerfed them, but players could sell those premium back for gold). It could be a “bait and switch” where they’d take your money fo one thing but give you a lot less than what you’d paid for. Since people pay real money for Premiums WG has a policy of never nerfing them. ![]()
